We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the "Spray Injector" at a power plant in the American Midwest. The facility was facing a deadline to comply with the interstate air pollution regulations (CAIR) established by the Environmental Protection Agency and required a control system to reduce NOx emissions by 30-50%. After implementation, NOx emissions were reduced by 45%, with only a minimal carryover of urea within acceptable limits. Additionally, there were no nozzle blockages, and the injector performed as specified.
